Cara Install Rclone dari Snap Package di Ubuntu

Rclone merupakan salah satu command line di linux yang sangat powerfull untuk urusan copy data dari linux ke beberapa cloud storage, misal Dropbox, Google Drive, Amazon s3, Amazon Drive, Microsoft One Drive, Openstack, Yandex Disk dan masih banyak lagi. Rclone saat ini tersedia di snap package, jadi sekarang untuk install Rclone tidak rumit lagi.

Berikut beberapa fitur dari Rclone :

• MD5/SHA1 hashes checked at all times for file integrity


• Timestamps preserved on files


• Partial syncs supported on a whole file basis


• Copy mode to just copy new/changed files


• Sync (one way) mode to make a directory identical


• Check mode to check for file hash equality


• Can sync to and from network, eg two different cloud accounts


• Optional encryption (Crypt)


• Optional FUSE mount

Install Rclone melalui paket Snap

Pertama kali tentunya kita membutuhkan paket snap, namun untuk beberapa versi ubuntu untuk paket snap sudah terinstall secara default, contoh ada di Ubuntu 16.04 LTS Xenial Xerus, 16.10 Yakkety Yak, 17.04 Zesty Zapus.



Untuk Ubuntu 14.04 LTS, kamu harus install terlebih dahulu paket nya

sudo apt-get install snapd

install rclone

sudo snap install rclone --classic

 

Untuk update Rclone melalui snap, tinggal ketik perintah

sudo snap refresh rclone --classic
